A body of work that’s as bold and tender as its name suggests. Pink’s practice is driven by intuition and impulse, allowing materials to take the lead as she pushes, pulls, and reshapes them into unexpected forms.

At the heart of this exhibition is her iconic large pink soft chain, a motif that symbolizes both the weight of trauma and the radical possibility of release. These links speak of fragility and resilience, carrying the idea that cycles of pain can be broken, and that new memories, light, playful and happy, can be forged in their place.

But Pink’s world doesn’t stop there. Her abstract paintings brim with wild pops of colour, building textured surfaces, her paintings into abstract forms, cutting and reforming, alive with energy and emotion.

Sculptural installations spill into the space like a surreal boutique, with jelly bags and spray foam arranged with a sense of both humor and luxury, sitting on top of luxe milk crate plinths, playful yet uncanny. Each object feels like it belongs to a dream closet where vulnerability is dressed up in chains and candy hues.

From here, you move into Pink’s flowing ceramic sculptures, forms that twist and swell with colour and texture. These works carry a sense of movement for both strength and softness in equal measure.

Together, Pink’s works create a universe where trauma is softened, where colour is a form of resistance, and where play becomes a tool for survival. Bubblegum Bruises invites viewers into a world that is punk, pink, and uplifting a place where you can transform your hurt into a place of beauty….
